About the event

Work is God’s idea. The very first people he created were put in a garden “to work it and to serve it.” And yet often we struggle to understand how our work relates to the big picture of God’s intent for this world. Dr. Jay Sklar loves helping people understand the overarching story of the Bible and how our work relates to that story. An expert in Leviticus, he also loves helping people to see the beauty of God’s law and how even laws that seem irrelevant or obscure to us have much to teach us about living to God’s glory in all we do, including our work. Please join us as he helps us to understand how to teach our people about how their work relates to the story of God’s plan for this world in general and to his Old Testament laws in particular.
